Who are we?

Hi! I’m Sonia, founder and CEO of VeggieAnimals.

I have been a vegan and activist for just over 15 years. I started coordinating a group of animal rights in Catalonia, performing street acts, talks, research and rescues. This is the type of activism I have been engaged in for all these years, to which the welcoming was added. I don’t understand life otherwise.

VeggieAnimals was born in 2014 with the aim of offering 100% vegetable (vegan) products for dogs and cats that cover all their needs while saving the lives of animals that are converted into conventional feed.

I was a child educator, so I had to be accompanied by the best professionals: veterinarians specialized in nutrition, manufacturers, consultants... A multidisciplinary team that feels the project, that lives it and that is reflected in the work we do daily and our careful and individualized customer service.


What are we doing?

We are pioneers in Spain, of the very few brands that do not have meat line. A vegan project that was created as a form of activism and that was born for and by animals.

Our formulas developed by a veterinary team specialized in nutrition, following the guidelines of FEDIAF and providing the necessary nutrients so that neither dogs nor cats have deficiencies. Taking a special look at B12, D3 (yes, vegan D3!), taurine, methionine or arachidonic acid. They are complete and healthy, with ingredients suitable for human consumption, premium feed.

We know the doubts that this type of feeding generates, so we offer a free veterinary consultation service in which Maria, co-founder of La Vida Color Frambuesa and responsible for the service, will attend you in a personalized way.

Why do we do it?


For them. No doubt.

The goal of this project was to save lives, and it still is. Ten years later, the same ideology and values guide the project.


And yes, we have to eat and pay bills, but this project goes further. It’s full of values, principles and ideology for the welfare of all animals. I don’t understand my life without VeggieAnimals. Without helping animals.


One thing that is certain is that we do not do this alone. It is thanks to your trust and support, translated into requests (and so much love that you give us!), what makes VeggieAnimals where it is, be what it is. You are the ones who save lives when you choose to offer a 100% vegetable diet.
